I want to thank you for

Your dedication , determination

Devotion of  love through service

In the arts, music and song.

You give my  life a deeper purpose,

a mission, a meaning

I can hear you singing

in my heart

all day long.

In the tiny chapel,

 you trained and laboured

You practiced tirelessly by the hour.

Your voice  to me a heavenly choir.

At-one-moment,

your Spirit took flight.

The song  came alive in your voice.

The pitch,  the tone,

the melody  were perfect .

Just  right.

Then ,

your loving devotion shone through…

as together we rejoiced.

I began to listen…

falling deeper into the tone

I floated deep within the song.

I was no longer alone.

My spirit soared.

My joy along.

I want to thank you for your beauty

your devotion to your craft

as you sing your song.

You have given me a gift of love…

I feel I should ask for your autograph.

Before,

 the world comes crowding in.

Before,stradivarius_ex_nachez

the fame takes you away.

I want to thank you

for being an instrument of healing…

deep within my heart today.

Waiting to hear you sing your song

I am singing the song

I came here to sing

It fills my whole heart,

my sanctuary,

my home,

my everything.

“I was waiting for so long.

I was waiting for my song.”

The Woman of the North

(whose fire I visit)

Tells me of the blessing

that it is to find my song.

She speaks of  those

who never find

their song,

their joy,

their happy place,

their mission,

their purpose.

She speaks of those

who do get a nudge

then dismiss it

always questioning:

“Is this my purpose?

 Is this my mission?

 Is this my song?

Well… Is it?

Look within

she tells me.

Look within

says the Voice on the Wind.

Look within

smiles the sunshine.

Looking within,

I find the song.

I am singing the song,

I was meant to come here to sing.

It fills my whole heart,

my sanctuary,

my home,

my everything.

I now share my song

as I walk the narrow way.

I thank you for being

my inspiration .

I ask the Creator of All

that your joy within

will always stay.

I am waiting to hear

you sing your song.

Author’s note. A song that was gifted to me is the HU. It is a love song for everyone.  ECKANKAR   http://eckankar.org brought the love song, the HU to me.  It gives me freedom from my grief.  It can help you. It does not ask you to change your religion.  It can enhance it.

Angel Oak

There is one

who is standing for you.

There is one

who is pounding the ground.

There is one

who is beating the drum.

There is one

who is dancing their dream.

There is one

who is cackling with laughter.

There is one

who is not what they seem.

There is one

who is singing the sound.

There is one

who walks beside you.

There is one

as you kneel to pray.

There is one

when you go the sweat lodge.

There is one

when you light a candle.

There is one

when you bless your altar.

There is one

when you sing your song.

There is

the Creator

an angel,

a saint,

 a spirit guide,

a protector

or friend…

The one

who walks beside you.

The One

Who has been there all along.

The one

Who will be with you

when  your  Journey ends.

Singing a Sacred Song greatpoetrymhf

Singing a sacred song

Upon awakening

The whole world sings along.

The sunlight of the sunrise

Dances with its Voice

While the Sunlight of the Spirit

Gives the world cause to Rejoice.

The music of the song birds

Mingles with the tune

Of the busy morning traffic

The children will be here soon.

The laughter of the morning

Fills my heart with Hope

As I jump into the shower

Banish cares with soap.

Under the running water

I renew my Spirit Song

Asking the Master to be with me

As I go about my day

Not hesitating in the moment

Not forgetting to pray.

May I see your wondrous Beauty.

May I fill my heart with song

May I speak a little softer

May I invite you to come along.

May I share your loving kindness

May I give an extra hug.

May I love without discernment

May I give with a rejoicing

Of the moments that we share.

May I always be compassionate

Patient, true and always kind.

May I be there for the stranger

Who still believes that Love is blind.

May I walk a little softer.

May my helping hand be quick.

May I give your love this moment.

May I be there for the sick.

May I this day and evening

Be an example of your Love.

May I make this day a reason

For one to think above

As I go about the Day.

May I sing the sacred song

As I walk this narrow way.

May I be there in the morning

For the heart that is full of fright

May I be there in evening

To help someone through the night.

May I awaken in the Moment

May I always hear your Voice

May I be kind and purposeful

May I always and all ways Rejoice.

Until soon…

HU a love song to God

First fasting day

of the new year

with a new moon.

Oh, the hunger,

to be home

with the travelers

at the new year.

Oh, the blessings

of the inner

seminar learning

at the Master’s knee.

Now the first fasting day

of the new year

has the added  great cleansing

energy of the new moon.

All is laundered, all is scrubbed…..

now I can tumble into bed

and dream of …………until soon.

We sang together

As with a mighty throng

We sang the HU

It was the inner/outer melodious song.

We invited the Masters by name….they came along.

Some of the chela’s  were shy.

Some  of the old one’s were crying.

Some  of the travelers from other places

were singing with us all

Of that there was no denying.

After singing together

The joy was over flowing

Then one chela would softly say

Until soon….because we now were  going.

There were no words that could express

The joy of these visitations

No words of closure

to the conversation after the song…

Just his quiet….until soon…

without hesitation.

The summer singers have come and gone.

But when I sing the HU alone at home now…

the echo’s of our summer sky singing

Is with me still

In my heart it is ringing…

Until soon.

All is laundered, all is scrubbed…..

now I can tumble into bed

and dream of …………until soon.
