Morning invocation

Replenish my laughter

Renew my dedication

Reinforce my willingness

Recall my wonder

Revise my vision

Recant my whining

Review my virtues

Reinforce my faith

Revisit my goals

Rededicate my purpose

Revisit my mission

Repel my fears

Revamp my direction

Rekindle the holy fire

Remove my worrying

Re-finish my countenance

Repeat this invocation

Rearrange my song

Re-acquaint me with my dance

Refill my heart

Recall my joy and gratitude

Retool my attitude

Return my vigilance

Refresh my curiosity

Refurbish my energy

Redo my artistry

Retouch my spirit

Rebuff my fears

Regulate my energy

Remember my purpose

Redecorate my life

Return my love for others

The unwanted child

She was always the unwanted childCome, sit by the fire..

She grew fast, she grew wild.

She was beaten and taken

She was never told

That she was precious

To have and to hold.

She was “a bitch and mistaken”.

She was always the unwanted child.

She grew fast, she grew wild.

When in her darkest prison

Her freedom came to be.

She was recovered and discovered

She could learn to love like you and me.

She was loved, she loved herself

No longer defiled and stuffed on a shelf.

She was free and oh, how she smiled.

She was nevermore the unwanted child

She was free and oh, how she smiled

She was loved, she loved herself

Cabin fever…

Colin Hall
Colin Hall
Cabin fever has gone on too long
Time to write or sing a song.
Time to paint and make some color
Or a luncheon date with your favorite feller.
You know you want to
cover up your head
take hot chocolate back to your bed
Or go out on an adventure instead.
February has its ruse
But its purpose at the moment
Has escaped the muse.
Time for baking some homemade bread
to eat with hot chocolate back to your bed.
TIme for a haircut or some new spring shoes
Time for a night of jazz and the blues.
Cause this white on white on white
Has gone on too long…
Time for some hyacinths in my living room
And dinner party when they bloom.
Time for day with just the girls
Dig out the wee black dress and a string of pearls.
Time for me to stop complaining
With all this snow…at least it’s not raining.

Reach out…

Colin Hall
Colin Hall

I watch

as the writer

reaches for the quill,

as the artist uses colour

and hones their skill.

I seek to learn

as the musician

strokes the right key

I wonder in amazement of all the harmony.

All of nature begins to unfold

in the morning majestic sunrise

or in the evening’s reds and golds.

I am fulfilled in joyous gratitude

as the love of the Creator fills my life.

I reach out to another

to walk with them through strife.

I reach inward now to give thanks

at the end of my days

To live in loving service to share the love in praise.

New Year`s Blessing for you

I wish you the joy and freedoms of my youth.

My wish for you
My wish for you

The delight of playing outside – kick the can, hide n seek and decorating mud pies with daisies.

I wish you the wisdom of my guides, teachers and elders who love unconditionally.

Most of all, I wish YOU to know you are worthy of giving yourself and others –

the highest and the best life has to offer.

Looking inward to the light

Do you see your beauty burning bright?

Do you see the miracle of your birth?

Do you see the  number of  re-birthing’s

till you found your worth?

Do you feel the majesty of the love

110276876Flowing out of you gently as a dove?

Do you see the kindness of your giving

Reaching across the ages of all your living?

Looking inward to the light

Do you see your beauty burning bright?
