It is a good day…every day above ground.

Like the re-incarnated gun fighter said where ever he went

“Èvery day, above ground,  is a good day.“

He shared that thought always

with those with the divine discontent.

The fever is gone.

I feel whole I feel free.

It is a good day

To sing, to be, to love, to laugh, and shine.

This is a good day to just recline.

The pickles never got done.

The floor needs a wash, a polish and shine.

My hair could use a new color,

grey is no friend of mine.

The joy of the “getting over.“

The gratitude of  “getting through.

Can wash over me as I bask in the thought:

Dear Sunlight of the Spirit,

this day is a good day

I can thank you for the skies of blue.

For the songs of the birds in the giant pine tree.

For bringing the joy of the moment back to me.

I will rest and heal for a day or two more.

May I see your plan more clearly as I dedicate my discovery

May I serve more diligently as I share my recovery.

Like the re-incarnated gun fighter said where ever he went

“Èvery day above ground is a good day.“

He shared that thought always

with those with the divine discontent.
