The writer huddled in the cold,
afraid to sleep lest the thoughts and courage escape her.
The woman who was telling the story
to the writer would soon want to see the first draft.
The sex energy is huge.
It attracted all the slugs in out of the rain.
The writer huddled in the cold,
knowing her passion in writing the book would keep her warm
that the cold would keep her focused.

“afraid to sleep lest the thoughts and courage escape her”
Good surfing of a writer’s night

Thank you kindly sweet Soul…for caring and sharing the passion of the writer. I so appreciate your writing from the hip the heart and Soul.
Reblogged this on Milenanik3's Blog and commented:

Thanks kindly sweet Soul for the love and the reblog….the question is never answered…there is always one more line, one more paragraph, one more page.
That will be me!!
The candle glows just as the quill drops the last words on the page….I know you are there dear willowdot…it shows in your writing. Thank you for sitting many a vigil with this learning writer.
While reading i escaped into the mind of the writer…its always a joy to share!
As a writer we often change places with the reader…..as a writer we always write with the reader in mind….what a joy when another writer….reads as though they had written and suffered. Your friendship is that joy for me.
