Long night of Soul

The “waitingness” is over.

I have heard your Voice.

I have the direction.

I have the choice.

Now, I will rest before I begin

The long, narrow, Journey Home.

I perceive I need the rest to contain

The joy, the love, the laughter, the loving service.

My heart is full, I am giddy and nervous.

Why this hesitation?

I have the dedication.

To touch your heart

To touch your heart

A woman smiled

You thought of another all the while.

The days grew long as spring days will

Your beloved sat alone upon the window sill.

You chased the other

Whose devotion was willy nilly

You lost the loving woman

now who the hell is silly.
