The storm has passed.
The children fed.
We all are safe and cozy
tucked up in our beds.
The night is dark.
The wind blows cold.
The winter night is sleeping.
The dreams come now so bold.
I used the design suggested for September in the Doll Quilt Challenge group, plus loads of nice patches I had around and that I was dying to use, to make this throw to my friend Eleanor. It has 118 x 153cm, so it is beyond the rules for the group (I probably shouldn’t post it there then…), but it was such a nice challenge that I couldn’t resist. I hope it’ll be of good use for next winter! (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
