There is a magpie
that sings in yonder tree.
He is faithful as ever can be.
As the winter months roll in,
He is bringing more seekers with him.
Today, there were nine dancing around
singing in the tree
pounding the snow on the ground.
Oh, the Joy they bring to me!
Their shadows danced across the snow.
The song they sang was simple you know…
“We love the Mahanta and he loves we.“
I sing to Huey and his friends
The love song that was given to me.
They sing back as a chorus of one.
“We love the Mahanta and he loves we.
