Soul builds the Master a Shrine

Filled with laughter, music

Love divine.

All in this moment

is beauty within and without.

Thanks for these moments of knowing.

They were almost worth all the doubt.

not just do as we please

Pull in the girth

Get our act together

Protect Mother Earth.

See how you can be of service

Get down on Soul’s knees.

Beauty of Mother Earth

she holds in  her hand

Herbs and the grasses

she understands

Her gift of healing,

the compassion it brings

Is a reflection of the love

she holds for Mother Earth.

Her smile and her artistry

are known through the land

A servant of  all of life

(Mother Earth, Father Moon

the stars the winged ones, the four footed ones and the creepy crawly ones)

Knowing their secrets they come to her hand.

Her demeanor is gentle

She is loving and kind

She has embraced her shadow

She has only love on her mind.

When she walks in the forest

with beauty and grace

She embraces each dew drop

The mosses rise up to greet her.

Her Spirit is renewed in this  holy place.

She returns humbly to work-a -world

Often there will be a secret smile….

She lives in the sacred spaces

Holding them in quiet amid daily whirl.

The Magpie sings with me

The joy of the magpie

for me is love without end.

On the farm many years ago

I would sing with him

in the morning

Now with an aging body

I glance out the window.

one of his extended family

is singing in the garden

My heart is lightened

With the  joy of the magpie

I start another day.

HU-a love song to God

Saturdays I always spent talking for hours  with my beloved Mother on the phone.

Since she passed I put aside this one day, one evening for me.

Now that I have moved closer to family the weekend is for us….tomorrow we going to the Movie Mill….the whole lot of us….imagine me 68 years at a cartoon festival   I will need to be ready  at 8 AM on a Saturday morning…..

While at the library recently I asked my great buddy Z, to help me pick out some CD.s for date night….
